    Patrik Elias announced on Friday that he is retiring as an NHL player after 20 seasons in the League.

    Patrick Elias played 1240 games in the NHL. He scored 408 goals and registered 617 assists for a total of 1025 points. He played his entire career with the New Jersey Devils.

    Elias is a former second round pick (51 overall) of the 1994 NHL entry Draft.
